Seam Taping and Bedding

The first step in achieving professional-level drywall finishing is drywall seam taping and bedding. Our professionals will cover the joints between each drywall panel with a joint compound. This will help to create a smooth surface.

Before applying the joint compound, paper or fibreglass mesh tape is placed over the seams. This will create a strong bond and prevent drywall cracks from forming.

Once the tape is securely in place, our professionals will apply the joint compound in thin layers to fill in any gaps. As the bedding process progresses, the layers of the compound will grow thicker to create that perfect, flawless finish you’re looking for!

Sanding and Smoothing
